What are the best ways to become the best at whatever you do?
The best way to create success is to think future first and to distinguish who you are being in the matter.
Goals incorporate “future first” meaning you will imagine the goal prior to attain it even if it’s as simple as eating an apple.
For example, you will think to yourself I want an apple.
Then you will go get the apple and eat it! This is no different if you choose to create personal or professional goals or internally like healing anxiety or depression or an external goal like money or a new car etc.
Setting a goal is to set the future and this mean you will have to fully experience your intended future to the extent you can distinguish a map that brought you to your intended future. Let’s say you are committed to losing 20lbs. See the goal, feel the goal, be the goal fully, now look to see how you got there. What did you do that got you there? Now write it down step by step from your insight. Distinguish a map that brought you to your goal so that you fully see it and feel it! Now we have to go get it.
As you set off to achieve your intended goal from the map that you created out of fully being what the completed goal, your object is to distinguish who you are being in the matter. Being is the state that is creating the present moment; for example, if you are being bored you will do boring things. If you are inspired, you will do inspiring things. As you follow the map that you’d created, you will be able to see who you are. Are you inspired as you receive more and eat less or are you angry? If you are angry, you will be less likely to continue. On the other hand, if you are inspired, you will be committed to continuing. When you are able to distinguish who you are being, you create the opportunity to change it; you can shift out from being bored and angry into being inspired.
Set a goal and watch for who you are being as you strive to achieve your goal.
